According to the Chinese zodiac, 2016 is the year of the monkey. While I do believe in kismet, I don't place a lot of stock in astrology or seer prediction (especially of the late-night infomercial variety). Having said that, sometimes it can be fun to read a forecast of the future.

Monkeys, by nature, are said to be intelligent, naughty, curious, and vigilant.

Born in 1980, I am also considered a "monkey".

So what happens when two symbolic primates – annum and personality – cross paths? Well, according to lore, it represents a jinx; 2016 will be defined by bad luck, competition and challenges (especially relating to finances).
